I love Tassels

You know how much I love Tassels, and there are countless images of tassels on the internet, and I'm always browsing for beautiful tassels for inspiration to make my own.
In my internet journeys, I found the most amazing tassel pics at
http://thepeachskin.tumblr.com/

I love this beautiful outfit, and the tassel necklace and bracelet make it so pretty.  Love the peace sign, love the beads, I just love it ALL!
The unbelievable colors in this necklace are simply delicious.  The tangerine tassel combined with the turquoise beads and knotted string are a beautiful combination.  I can see wearing this with a crispy starched white and a pair a indigo skinny jeans.

The ombre dye technique on this tassel really caught my eye, and shows how a simple silk tassel can be dipped into dye for an organic and thoughtful decoration on any door.
And this one is extremely elegant in it's simplicity with the pure white embroidery floss and wooden beads, just slightly dipped in an ash brown dye.  Beautiful!

I know you love tassels too, or you wouldn't be hanging out here with me..... so if you want more inspiration and to see how easy it is to make your own tassels, you just might enjoy my little video.

Feather Earrings - A Craft-A-Day with Pattiewack for National Craft Month

I love to wear feather earrings!  And when I found these at Charming Charlie's (which I also love) I just knew I had to add glitter and rhinestones.  In 10 or 15 minutes they turned from plain to fabulous!  Go to iLoveToCreate to find out what you'll need to make some for yourself or to give away.

I'll see you back here tomorrow for more crafts!

Cameo Key Necklace - A Craft-A-Day with Pattiewack for National Craft Month!

Keys are so cool to craft with, and to add a cameo to a key is just great!  I simply glued it onto the key and then took bugle beads and placed them around the edge.  You can find out how I did it on iLoveToCreate.com.  Oh, and how do you like the monogram with beads?  This looks so cute with a white shirt and jeans.  Now I just need to make some matching earrings or a bracelet!

See you tomorrow with another crafty iea for National Craft Month,

N.E.E.T. Magazine

N.E.E.T. Magazine has the latest issue up on their site, and it's great to view every page for free without having to make the trip to the local book store to pick it up.

Check out the adorable covered button bracelet by Jennifer Perkins of Naughty Secretary fame, on page 139. It's been YEars since I made a covered button. This made me go through my sewing stash and look for my little rubber mold and metal buttons to cover with fun fabric. What a great idea for making something memorable with a piece of fabric that you just can't part with, but it's too small to really make anything with.

Thanks Jennifer!
